Jeff Bell joined LegalShield in July 2014 as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Bell is recognized as a successful and passionate marketing visionary with an extraordinary corporate leadership portfolio. Prior to joining LegalShield, Jeff was the COO of vRide, a TPG Growth portfolio company, where he oversaw the development of a consumer facing technology platform, and the installation of new ERP systems, leading to significant top-line revenue growth. Previously, Mr. Bell served as Corporate Vice President, Global Marketing, Interactive Entertainment Business (Xbox), for Microsoft Inc. While with Microsoft, Bell enjoyed tremendous success and industry recognition launching/marketing video games like “Halo 3,” Gears of War,” and “Rock Band,” to name a few. He also served as Vice President of the Chrysler and Jeep Divisions, with oversight of product strategy and marketing efforts with multi-billion dollar budgets and returns. Mr. Bell earned a B.A. degree in history and Spanish from Kenyon College in 1984, a M.A. from Johns Hopkins in 1988, and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School in 1989.

Patrick was the President of the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) 2013-2014.  He is a member of the National Conference of Bar Presidents (NCBP)(2014-present) that prepares and trains Bar leadership nationwide.  Currently serving on the NCBP Executive Counsel. Marguerite Salazar was previously the chief regulator of the state of Colorado, where she served as the executive director of the Department of Regulatory Agencies. She oversaw nine divisions and provided administrative oversight of the Colorado Office of Policy Research and Regulatory Reform and the broadband fund. She was appointed by Gov. John Hickenlooper in July 2017. Prior to that, she was Colorado’s insurance commissioner, appointed by Hickenlooper in 2013, regulating all forms of insurance in the state. Salazar also was appointed by President Obama to serve as Regional Director for Region VIII, Health and Human Services where she assisted in implementing the Affordable Care Act in six states. She has experience serving on numerous boards and panels, including as a trustee for the Temple Hoyne Buell Foundation and on the Colorado State University Board of Governors. Salazar earned an undergraduate and master’s degree, in counseling psychology, from Adams State in Alamosa, Colorado. .

Amanda Ostrowitz is a regulatory attorney and entrepreneur who’s identified a need for a user-friendly, scalable platform to research regulations and laws in the cannabis industry. Amanda founded RegsTechnology and its current product, CannaRegs, as a tool to aid attorneys, business people, and governments with localized tracking of regulatory issues. Although RegsTechnology has its origins in covering the dynamics of cannabis regulation, Amanda has created an innovative framework that can be applied more broadly to other emerging, hyper-localized regulatory issues. Prior to conceiving, developing and founding RegsTechnology, Amanda worked as a bank examiner in the Denver branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. Amanda is a New England native who moved to Colorado in 2004 to attend Colorado College where she earned a B.A. in Economics and went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2013.

After graduation from Capital University Law School in 1997, Paul began his career with the Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney's office. As part of the first gang prosecution unit Paul worked on a multitude of long term investigations into street gang in Columbus. Paul also worked closely with fire investigators as the arson prosecutor until he left the office in 2003 to start his own private practice. In 2005 he was offered a position as an assistant prosecutor in Delaware County. In 2007 Paul was tapped to start the special prosecutions unit for the Ohio AG. There he headed a unit of experienced prosecutors who traveled the state assisting local prosecutors with major felony offenses. Paul developed a specialty in homicide prosecutions and during his 10 plus years in the unit he handled over 50 homicide cases. He joined MSH in 2018 with over 20 years of trial experience, both as a practitioner and instructor.

Barbara Brohl is currently a Principal at B J Brohl Strategies, where she consults on drug policy strategies for the 21st century. She believes that successful reform can occur when drug policy and effective regulation intersect. Prior to this, Barb led the varied functions of the Colorado Department of Revenue. Appointed by Governor John Hickenlooper to his Cabinet in 2011, she was responsible for Colorado’s Tax Division, the Division of Motor Vehicles, Lottery, and Enforcement for Gaming, Liquor and Tobacco, Racing, and Marijuana. Barb led a team of approximately 1,500 employees, collected between $11 - $13 billion in fees and taxes for the State annually, regulates more than 14,000 liquor-licensed businesses, issued more than 1.85 million titles and over 1 million driver licenses, and through the Lottery contributed almost $3 billion to Colorado’s economy. Before joining state government, Barb practiced telecommunications law with Qwest Communications, representing the company in multi-million dollar commercial transactions and addressing all legal and regulatory matters for a 23-state region. She was also an elected member of the Regional Transportation District Board of Directors where she set policy, advocated for transit at the federal and state levels and introduced a workforce development program. Barb was appointed by the Governor to co-chair the Amendment 64 Implementation Task Force, set up by Executive Order after Colorado voters approved the constitutional amendment that allows for the sale and consumption of marijuana by persons age 21 and older. The amendment required regulation of marijuana growth, manufacture and sale. The Task Force was charged with forwarding recommendations to the governor, general assembly and attorney general regarding how the state should move forward with Amendment 64. In addition, Barb helped to develop legislation and rules around regulatory and enforcement matters for this industry. Responsible for implementing the first-in-the-world regulatory program for legalization and regulation of marijuana for recreational use, Barb is seen as an expert in Marijuana Regulation. She has consulted with governments on both national and international levels to present “The Colorado Model”. Barb has received several professional, leadership and community service awards. Among them, the 2008 Colorado Hispanic Bar Association‘s Christopher A. Miranda “Outstanding Hispanic Lawyer” award; 2009 Qwest Outstanding Service Award for Diversity, 2011 Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce Athena Award “Limitless” Finalist; the 2011 Boy Scouts of America Vale La Pena Service Award for “Unselfish service to Hispanic American young people”, the 2013 Colorado Women of Distinction Award from the West Metro Chamber of Commerce, the 2015 Trailblazer Award from the Latinas First Foundation, the 2015 Denver Business Journal Outstanding Women in Business Award – Banking, Finance, and Accounting, the 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award by the Center for Legal Inclusiveness, and the 2017 State Executive of the Year Award from the National Association of State CIOs. He also sits on the Denver Cannabis Sustainability Working Group and helps coordinate government and industry efforts to increase environmental stewardship within cannabis business.Andrew first worked alongside the Vicente Sederberg team in 2012 during Colorado’s Amendment 64 campaign, which legalized marijuana for adults. Glen Mulready became the 13th Oklahoma insurance commissioner after receiving 62 percent of the vote. He was sworn into office on January 14, 2019. Glen is a recognized leader and champion in the insurance industry. Starting as a broker in 1984, Glen rose to serve at the executive level of the two largest health insurance companies in Oklahoma. In 2007, he joined Benefit Plan Strategies, a company helping businesses provide employee benefits and health insurance to their employees. Glen has served as President of both the Tulsa and Oklahoma State Health Underwriters Associations and has been named State Health Underwriter of the Year. In 2010, Glen successfully ran for state representative and quickly became the point person for the House of Representatives on insurance issues and was appointed chairman of the Insurance Committee after the 2014 elections. In this role, Glen passed legislation which resulted in more insurance companies offering service in the state, and he reformed the state employee insurance program to save Oklahoma millions of dollars a year while also saving thousands of dollars for those families. These successes led to Glen being tapped for the leadership position of Majority Floor Leader in 2017. Glen and Sally, his wife of 31 years, are the proud parents of three teenage sons, Sam, Jake and Will. In 2008, Glen and Sally were the recipients of Leadership Tulsa’s Paragon Award for their work with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Glen is very active in the community having served on numerous boards and committees including Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, March of Dimes, Shepherds Fold Ranch Christian Summer Camp, Crime Commission and Tulsa Tough.

John is the Firm Practice Manager for Deming Parker Hoffman Campbell and Daly LLC. He has more than two decades of legal management experience in both Georgia and California. John is also an adjunct instructor at a local university and I teach online for the Association of Legal Administrators. He is a lifelong learner with a Bachelor's degree, an MBA and currently pursuing a MAC degree. One interesting fact - in 2005, John moved out to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career and landing small roles and extra spots on many television shows.
